Turnip Puff

This twist on turnips is a family staple at Thanksgiving and Christmas - no matter how much is made there are no leftovers. For weightwatchers, this works out to 2 points per serving.
Ingredients
- 3 cups turnip, hot mashed shopping list
- 2 tbsp butter shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 3 tbsp flour shopping list
- 1 tbsp brown sugar shopping list
- 1 tsp baking powder shopping list
- 3/4 tsp salt shopping list
- 1/8 tsp pepper (or to taste) shopping list
- 1/3 cup dry crumbs (bread or crackers) shopping list
How to make it
- Combine turnip and butter.
- Add eggs and beat well.
- Stir in flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and pepper.
- Mix well to blend.
- Put in greased casserole and top with crumbs.
- Bake at 375 F for 25 minutes.
