Caraway Brown Bread

- 2 cups whole wheat flour...plus extra for dusting loaves shopping list
- 1 tsp. baking soda shopping list
- 1 tsp. salt shopping list
- 1 cup buttermilk shopping list
- 1 tbls. molasses shopping list
- 1/2-3/4 tsp. caraway seeds shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 375
- Grease baking sheet
- In mixing bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and salt
- Add buttermilk, molasses, and caraway seeds
- Stir until a dough forms
- With floured hands, halve dough and then form halves into round loaves
- Put loaves onto baking sheet and dust with flour
- Cut a shallow X into top, about 2 inches wide
- Bake for 25 minutes, until lightly browned
