Rhode Island Clam Cakes

- 4 cups flour shopping list
- 8 teaspoons baking powder shopping list
- 3 teaspoons salt shopping list
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper shopping list
- 4 eggs shopping list
- 2 cups milk shopping list
- 1 pint clams canned with liquid shopping list
- 2 cups lard for deep frying shopping list
How to make it
- Mix all of above ingredients except lard.
- Heat lard to 375 and drop clam mixture into oil using oiled spoon.
- Cook 5 minutes and place on paper towels to drain then season with salt and pepper.
