Rhode Island Clam Cakes

These are good as an appetizer or as a main dish. I eat them as a main dish with a dinner salad. Enjoy.

Mix all of above ingredients except lard.
Heat lard to 375 and drop clam mixture into oil using oiled spoon.
Cook 5 minutes and place on paper towels to drain then season with salt and pepper.
