How to make it

  • Heat sesame oil in dutch oven over medium heat
  • Add red pepper, sesame & onion, cook 5 minutes or until tender, stirring frequently
  • Add 1/4 t salt, ginger & garlic, cook 1 minute stirring constantly
  • Add 1/4 t salt, soy sauce, chile sauce, broth & chicken
  • Bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer one hour
  • Remove chicken, cool slightly & shred with two forks
  • Add soba noodles, cook 5 minutes or until done
  • Stir in bok choy, reduce to simmer
  • Stir in 1/4 salt, green onions, basil
  • Take off heat stir in lime juice
  • (I did not add salt to mine since I had homemade stock and didn't feel I needed salt. I also ate it with some sourdough bread)
