Christmas Mincemeat Pie

Mike mentioned that we didn't get our "traditional" pumpkin or mincemeat pies at Thanksgiving. I told him Pumpkin is Thanksgiving, mincemeat is Christmas... That's the way Grandma Drummond always served them.
Ingredients
- 1 package of None Such condensed mincemeat shopping list
- 1/3 cup cherry flavored crasins or dried cherries shopping list
- 1 3/4 cup Dark Cherry and Concord grape juice shopping list
- 1 deep dish pie shell with top crust shopping list
- 2 tbs turbinado sugar shopping list
How to make it
- Combine mincemeat, crasins and juice in a small sauce pan.
- Bring to a boil and then simmer on very low for about 20 min until all the mincemeat is reconstituted.
- Pour fruit into a prepared pie crust and cover with top crust.
- cut sun burst slits in the top crust and sprinkle with the sugar
- Bake at 375 for 45 minutes.
- Serve warm with whipped cream
