Seafood with Fennel

- 2 cloves garlic, chopped shopping list
- 1 shallot, chopped shopping list
- 1 medium onion, chopped shopping list
- 1 bulb fennel, thinly sliced shopping list
- Trader Joe's frozen seafood medley (you can use anything though) shopping list
- 1/2 cup white wine (I used an Orvieto, but a Chardonnay would do) shopping list
- 1 tbsp butter shopping list
- 1-2 tbsp paprika shopping list
- 1-2 tbsp olive oil shopping list
- 1 1/2 tsp cornstarch shopping list
- 1 tsp lemon juice (optional and to taste) shopping list
- salt (to taste) shopping list
- pepper (to taste) shopping list
How to make it
- Heat olive oil in a large pan.
- Sautee garlic, shallot, onion, and fennel all together until they start to just get translucent.
- Add paprika, lemon juice, salt, and pepper and cook for 1 minute.
- Add white wine and cook on medium uncovered for 10 minutes.
- Add seafood to pan and cook until seafood is done.
- Add butter and cornstarch, cook until fully incorporated and you have a nice sauce.
- Serve with rice or noodles.
