  • Turn kettle on
  • Get saucepan
  • Put saucepan on stove thing
  • Pour excessive amounts of pasta into saucepan
  • Pour water from kettle into saucepan
  • Wack stove thing on max
  • Wait
  • Wait ...
  • Wait!
  • Grate copious amounts cheese
  • Wait
  • Wait ...
  • Wait!
  • eat a piece of pasta, if it tastes yummy turn off the stove thingy
  • Get rid of the water somehow
  • Pour the cheese onto the pasta
  • Stir in the cheese, not too long that it sticks to the saucepan (that's a bugger to wash off), but long enough to perfectly evenly spread the cheese amongst the pasta
  • Find a fork
  • eat cheesy pasta and revel at the knowledge that others spend hours of their days cooking yet still fail to come close to this awesomely flavorsome sensation
