Green Tea Macaroni and Cheese

- 3 1/2 tsp powdered green tea shopping list
- 8 oz elbow macaroni shopping list
- 2 tbsp butter shopping list
- 2 tbsp flour shopping list
- 2 1/2 cups milk shopping list
- 2 cups parmesan cheese, grated shopping list
- Kizami nori ( thinly cut stips of toasted seaweed used for garnish in Japanese cooking ) shopping list
- salt, pepper shopping list
How to make it
- Cook macaroni in boiling water as directed on package.
- Drain and rinse with water.
- Set aside.
- In sauce pan, melt butter over medium heat.
- Stir in flour and cook until hot and bubbly.
- Add milk and mix until creamy.
- Stir in cheese and Green tea.
- Cook until cheese is melted.
- Season to taste with salt and pepper.
- Add macaroni and toss to coat.
- Top with Kizami nori. (or cut a full sheet nori into small pieces)
