this is not a hot cheese ball but you can 'jazz' it up by changing the chili peppers...recipe is from Kiss

Ingredients
  • 1 – 8 ounce cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups (8 Ounces) cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 small can diced green chilies, drained
  • 2 tablespoons onions, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 3/4 cup finely chopped walnuts

Directions
  1. In a large mixing bowl blend the cream cheese and cheddar cheese.
  2. Add the onion, chilies and Worcestershire sauce.
  3. Stir chili cheese mixture gently.
  4. Cover chili cheese and place into the refrigerator for several hours or overnight.
  5. Remove from refrigerator and divide in half.
  6. Shape each half into a chili cheese ball.
  7. Roll each ball into the chopped nuts.
  8. For best results, wrap chili cheese balls in plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight. Serve cheese balls along with your favorite crackers and have a ball.
