Double Fudge Frosting for Cakes

- 18 ounces Unsweetened chocolate; melted and cooled shopping list
- 1 1/2 cup butter shopping list
- 6 large eggs shopping list
- 2 teaspoon vanilla shopping list
- 4 cups powdered sugar shopping list
How to make it
- In top of double boiler set over simmering (not boiling) water, melt chocolate, stirring until smooth.
- Cool for 10 minutes.
- While the chocolate is cooling beat butter at medium speed until smooth.
- Beat in eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Beat in chocolate, vanilla and sugar until thick and fluffy.
- Spread frosting on top and sides of cake.
