Tuna Noodle Bake...Cheap and Easy Comfort Food!!!

Ingredients
  • 12 ounces medium egg noodles, cooked and drained
  • 2 cups cooked green peas
  • (frozen sweet peas cooked for 3 minutes in the microwave with 1 cup of water, then drain the water)
  • 2 cans condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 1/2 cups sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 2 cans (approx. 6 ounces each) tuna, drained and flaked
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 to 1 cup soft bread crumbs
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter

Directions
  1. Heat oven to 350°. Grease a 2 1/2 to 3-quart casserole dish.
  2. Combine the noodles, peas, soup, milk, cheese, and tuna.
  3. Add salt and pepper, to taste.
  4. Spoon into the prepared baking dish.
  5. Toss bread crumbs with butter and sprinkle over the top.
  6. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, until hot and bubbly and crumbs are browned.
