this is a good recipe it takes some time but u can have lots of fun with the fortunes inside!!

Ingredients
  • 1 c flour
  • 1/2 c sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 c oil
  • 4 egg whites
  • 1 tbs water
  • fortunes on 1/2 x 3 " paper strips

Directions
  1. heat oven to 300 degreese
  2. in a bowl combine first 5 ingredients wisk together
  3. add next 4 ingredients and beat for 1 min
  4. spread 1 tbs cookie batter into a 4" circle on greased baking sheet
  5. repeat to make 4 disks
  6. bake 12 min or untill light brown
  7. set 1 disk in center of a pot holder
  8. place a fortune in center then fold in half and pinch ends together
  9. drape it fold side down over a rim of a coffee mug
  10. press down on both sides to curve cookie into a cresent
  11. set cookie into a muffin tin to cool compleatly so they crisp up and hold their shape
  12. store in air tight container up to 2 weeks
