Ingredients

How to make it

  • Put all of the above ingredients except the juice from the chickpeas into a blender. Begin blending.
  • You'll need to blend, then use a spoon to mix, then blend again. The hummus will be too thick to blend without help.
  • You can slowly add some of the juice from the chickpeas to the mixture to thin it out, but you don't want the hummus to be runny.
  • You can also adjust the other seasonings to taste. (I usually end up adding a bit more of each to give it more flavor.)
  • This will last about two weeks in the refrigerator.
