- 500g Mackerel - cleaned , skinned and flaked shopping list
- 1 C heavy coconut milk shopping list
- sugar and salt to taste shopping list
- coconut leaves , cut into 2 or 3 pcs shopping list
- some toothpicks shopping list
- ..................... shopping list
- Make paste : shopping list
- 4 chilli padi , sliced shopping list
- 3 tsp shrimp paste shopping list
- 1 pc fresh tumeric shopping list
- 1 stalk lemongrass, finely sliced shopping list
- 1 slice galangal , chopped shopping list
- 3 cloves garlic , sliced shopping list
- 4 shallots , sliced shopping list
- 4 candlenuts, roasted shopping list
How to make it
- Mix everything together in a bowl .
- Take 1 tbsp of mixture at a time and keep inside the coconut leaves .
- Cover and overlap it with another coconut leaf and leaving for them to expand , leave some space and secure it on both sides with a toothpick .
- Grill it over charcoal fire .
