Ingredients
  • One 3 Pound Brisket that has been prepared with a rub,and cooked with a mop sauce,sliced thin after done.
  • For the topping:
  • 2 Tablespoons Butter
  • 3/4 Cup Fresh Tomato,peeled,seeded,chopped
  • 1 Onion,chopped
  • 1/2 Cup Sweet Green Pepper,chopped
  • Cook this mixture until onion is tender,stir every once in a while.
  • To said mixture add:
  • 1 Cup Chili Sauce
  • 1/2 Cup Beer
  • 1/2 Cup Cider Vinegar
  • 2 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons Chipotle Peppers in Adobo Sauce,chopped
  • 1-1/4 teaspoons Black Pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoons Salt
  • Bring this total mixture to a boil,reduce heat.
  • Boil gently,uncovered for about 15 minutes (or so) just until it is reduced to about 2 Cups.
  • Serve on top of the sliced brisket inside a toasted bun.
