Bread for the Family
From gottschacookin4real 16 years agoIngredients
                    - 3 1/2 cups luke warm water shopping list
 - 3 pkgs. dry yeast shopping list
 - 1 can evaporated milk shopping list
 - 6 eggs shopping list
 - 3 palms salt shopping list
 - 3/4 cup sugar shopping list
 - 2 sticks butter shopping list
 - 5 lbs flour (I use part whole wheat flour) shopping list

How to make it
                    - In a large mixing bowl I put everything in together (minus the flour) and mix well with 1 - 2 cups of whole wheat flour. I then add the flour gradually until the correct texture where it can be kneaded. Pour out on floured board (counter) and knead for 10 minutes. Let rise for 2 hours (I warm my oven then put in the bread and turn off the oven for rising). After rising 2 hours, punch down and let rest 10 minutes.
 - Put into bread pans (6 regular sized loaves or 4 5lb loaf pans). Let rise again (1 - 2 hours).
 - Bake at 350 for 35 to 40 minutes.
