Sweet Dill Pickles

- 1 (46oz) jar Polish dill pickles, drained and cut lengthwise. shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups white sugar shopping list
- 1 cup white or cider vinegar, plus a little more if needed to top off shopping list
- 1 tsp celery seed shopping list
How to make it
- Boil sugar, vinegar, and celery seed for 5 minutes.
- Pour over pickles in jar and let stand in refrigerator for at least 3 to 4 days before using.
- Save drained pickle juice: it's great for heartburn.
