Chocolate Drizzle Cake Recipe
Gorgeous Rich Choc Sponge with serves well with custard ice cream or whipped cream!

Ingredients
  • 2oz dark chocolate
  • 30g cocoa powder
  • 150g low fat margarine
  • 50g light brown soft sugar
  • 2 tbsps runny honey
  • 75ml skimmed milk
  • 150g wholemeal self raising flour
  • Half tbsp bicarbonate of soda
  • 3 eggs beaten
  • 25g white chocolate melted

Directions
  1. Line a 23cm round tin with baking paper and preheat oven to gas mark 4/180C
  2.  Combine dark chocolate, margarine, cocoa powder, honey and sugar in a heatproof bowl and melt
  3.  Once the chocolate mixture has melted stir in the milk
  4.  Sift the flour & bicarbonate of soda adding any bran left in the sieve to the bowl
  5.  Beat eggs into chocolate mixture and add flour
  6.  beat well then pour batter into cake tin
  7.  bake for 35-40mins or until the skewer/knife comes out clean
  8.  Drizzle melted white choc over with teaspoon
