Easy Spaghetti Carbonara Recipe
This is one of my fav throw together meals and my family loves it.

Ingredients
  • 1 lb bacon
  • 1 lb of spaghetti
  • 1 15 oz jar of Alfredo Sauce
  • 2 cans of peas – drained
  • 4 – 8 Sun-dried tomatoes in olive oil cut up into little pieces (I leave these out of the sauce and add it to my bowl because my husband does not like them)
  • Parmesan cheese

Directions
  1. Cook the bacon crispy (so it will crumble well) – use a large skillet for this, you will mix the sauce in this pan
  2. Cook the spaghetti al denti - use bacon grease in place of oil to prevent boil-over
  3. Poor off all but 2-3 table spoons of bacon grease
  4. Add the Alfrado Sauce, drained peas, crumbled bacon and sun-dried tomatoes to the skillet and heat through
  5. Poor drained spaghetti to sauce and mix well
  6. Serve with Parmesan cheese on the side
