Chettinad Fish Curry

- 300 gms fish sliced into big pieces shopping list
- 1 handful of grated coconut shopping list
- 1 tomato shopping list
- 1 tsp tamarind paste shopping list
- salt to taste shopping list
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder shopping list
- 1 tsp chillie powder shopping list
- 1 tsp coriander powder shopping list
- 1/2 tsp mustard seeds shopping list
- 1/2 tsp cumin seeds shopping list
- 4 small onions shopping list
- few curry leaves shopping list
- 1 tbsp refined oil shopping list
- 2 garlic pieces shopping list
How to make it
- marinade fish with chilli powder, salt, turmeric n coriander powder n keep it aside for about 15 mts
- Grind coconut, cumin seeds, tomato, curry leaves n garlic
- Heat oil in a pan
- Add mustard seeds, small onions n curry leaves
- Add the ground items n fish
- Put tamarind paste n add 100 ml water
- Cook for 20 minutes
