Date Balls

- 1/2 cup sugar shopping list
- 1/2 cup butter/substitute shopping list
- 1 cup chopped dates shopping list
- 1 egg shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla shopping list
- 2 cups Rice Krispies shopping list
- 1/2 cup nuts (usually walnuts, pecans are also good) shopping list
- shredded coconut shopping list
How to make it
- Cook sugar, butter, dates, egg and vanilla on low heat for 10 minutes, constantly stirring.
- Let cool.
- Mix in cereal and nuts
- Form balls from final mixture
- Roll in shredded coconut
- Refrigerate for ~30 minutes
