A quick and easy candylike cookie.

Ingredients
  • 1 cup butter or margarine
  • 1 cup brown sugar (packed)
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 cups flour
  • chocolate chips (about 3/4 cups)
  • chopped nuts

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Cream together butter, sugar, egg yolk and vanilla.
  3. Add flour.
  4. Spread dough out on greased 13X10" greased baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 25 to 30 mins. or until nicely browned.
  6. Remove from oven and place chocolate chips directly on top immediately.
  7. Lightly cover with foil while cookie is still warm.
  8. After five minutes, spread melted chocolate chips evenly over the top of the cookie.
  9. Sprinkle with chopped nuts and cut into squares.
  10. Let chocolate harden and enjoy!
