Toffee Squares Recipe

Ingredients

How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350.
  • Cream together butter, sugar, egg yolk and vanilla.
  • Add flour.
  • Spread dough out on greased 13X10" greased baking sheet.
  • Bake for 25 to 30 mins. or until nicely browned.
  • Remove from oven and place chocolate chips directly on top immediately.
  • Lightly cover with foil while cookie is still warm.
  • After five minutes, spread melted chocolate chips evenly over the top of the cookie.
  • Sprinkle with chopped nuts and cut into squares.
  • Let chocolate harden and enjoy!
