Porcupine Meat Balls

- 1 lb ground chuck or sirlion shopping list
- 1/3 cup rice (raw) shopping list
- 1/2 tsp salt shopping list
- pepper coarsely ground to taste shopping list
- 1 tbsp EVOO shopping list
- 1/2 cup finely chopped onions shopping list
- 1 tin tomato soup (or homemade if you have) shopping list
- 1/2 cup water shopping list
- 1 egg shopping list
How to make it
- Wash the rice and set aside.
- Mix beef, onions rice and seasonings with the egg, in a large bowl.
- Form into 1 inch meat balls, roll in flour.
- Place in a frying pan with EVOO and brown on all sides add soup and water.
- Cover and braise at med-low temp for 25-30 minutes....add more water if it seems that you rice needs more moisture.
