Tomato Dill Soup

- 1/2 cup butter shopping list
- 1 cup minced onion shopping list
- 1 cup minced carrot shopping list
- 1 cup minced celery shopping list
- 2 tablespoon minced garlic shopping list
- 1 tablespoon basil shopping list
- 1 tablespoon thyme shopping list
- 1/2 tablespoon tarragon shopping list
- 1/2 cup flour shopping list
- 3 cup chicken broth shopping list
- 35 ounces canned tomatoes chopped and with juice shopping list
- 2-1/2 cups tomato juice shopping list
- 1 cup heavy cream shopping list
- 1 tablespoon sugar shopping list
- 1 tablespoon dried dill shopping list
How to make it
- Melt butter then add onion, carrot and celery and cook 10 minutes.
- Add garlic, basil, thyme and tarragon and cook 1 minute then add flour and cook 5 minutes.
- Gradually add broth then add tomato and juice and bring to a boil then simmer 10 minutes.
- Stir in cream and sugar then cook 5 minutes more and add dill and serve.
