Tomato Shrimp Margaritas

- 2 pounds fully ripened fresh tomatoes shopping list
- 1 jalapeno pepper seeded and finely chopped shopping list
- 1 tablespoon grated lime zest shopping list
- 3/4 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper shopping list
- 2 tablespoons tequila shopping list
- 2 tablespoons lime juice shopping list
- 1 tablespoon orange flavored liqueur shopping list
- 1-1/2 pounds cooked large shrimp peeled shopping list
How to make it
- Remove stem ends from tomatoes and finely chop.
- Combine tomatoes, jalapeno, lime zest, salt, pepper, tequila, lime juice and liqueur until blended.
- Chill then spoon an equal amount of tomato salsa into 6 margarita or wine glasses.
- Surround with chilled shrimp dividing evenly then serve.
