Macadamia Brittle

- 1 cup unsalted macadamia nuts coarsely chopped shopping list
- 1/2 cup butter at room temperature shopping list
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar shopping list
- 1 tablespoon light corn syrup shopping list
- 3/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips shopping list
How to make it
- Line bottom and sides of a round cake pan with aluminum foil then butter foil generously.
- Cook nuts, butter, sugar and corn syrup in a heavy large skillet over low heat.
- Stirring constantly until butter melts and sugar dissolves.
- Increase heat and boil until mixture turns golden brown about 5 minutes.
- Pour into prepared pan spreading evenly then sprinkle with chocolate chips and let melt.
- Spread evenly over top then cool 15 minutes and remove candy from pan then peel off foil.
- Cool completely then break into pieces.
