How to make it

  • Line bottom and sides of a round cake pan with aluminum foil then butter foil generously.
  • Cook nuts, butter, sugar and corn syrup in a heavy large skillet over low heat.
  • Stirring constantly until butter melts and sugar dissolves.
  • Increase heat and boil until mixture turns golden brown about 5 minutes.
  • Pour into prepared pan spreading evenly then sprinkle with chocolate chips and let melt.
  • Spread evenly over top then cool 15 minutes and remove candy from pan then peel off foil.
  • Cool completely then break into pieces.
