How to make it

  • Sift together 2 cups of flour and yeast
  • Add water and salt and mix well
  • Continue adding in remaining flour just until dough cleans the sides of the bowl.
  • I only ended up using about 1 cup more flour
  • Knead dough for 4-5 minutes
  • Divide dough into 10 balls
  • Roll each ball out onto floured surface
  • Place on baking sheet and allow to rise for 30 minutes
  • Flip pitas and place in oven for about 5 minutes
  • They will pop up when finished baking
