Crockpot Mexican Rice Recipe
I saw this recipe out on the web today.. I liked the idea of making it in the crockpot... the recipe is from Josh Day Editor, Crockpot Recipes

Ingredients
  • 2 pounds ground beef, browned, drained
  • 1 medium yellow onion, diced
  • 1 green pepper, diced
  • 2 celery stalks, diced
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 small can diced chilis
  • 2 cups converted rice, uncooked ( I will use short grain brown rice)
  • 2 cans diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • 3 Tbs chili powder
  • 2 tsp seasoned salt
  • 2 Tbs Worcesershire sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups water

Directions
  1. Add all ingredients to a crockpot and stir well. Cover and cook on low for 7-8 hours.

This does sound very good with all that chili powder in it.
