Mulligans Melt From Mulligans Restaurant Recipe
MULLIGAN’S MELT FROM MULLIGAN’S RESTAURANT I obtained this recipe from Mulligan’s Restaurant while on vacation in Lake Tahoe in August, 2006.

Ingredients
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 garlic clove chopped
  • 1 teaspoon fresh chives minced
  • Olive oil
  • 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan
  • 2 slices sourdough bread
  • 2 slices Monterey Jack cheese
  • 2 slices crispy bacon
  • Sliced red onion
  • 2 slices tomato
  • 5 ounces sliced smoked turkey breast

Directions
  1. Combine mayonnaise, garlic and chives then set aside.
  2. Oil hot flat griddle with olive oil.
  3. Spread Parmesan cheese over two spots on griddle.
  4. Lay one slice sourdough over each spot and spread each side evenly with garlic mayonnaise.
  5. Place one slice cheese atop each sourdough slice then one slice bacon, sliced onion and tomato.
  6. Meanwhile cook turkey slices on grill until golden brown all sides then add to sandwich.
  7. Continue cooking sandwich until parmesan is golden brown then serve hot.
