Aussie Beef Burger

- 2 Tbsp olive oil shopping list
- 1 small onion, finely chopped shopping list
- 400g beef mince shopping list
- 2 Tbsp chopped oregano shopping list
- 2 Tbsp worcestershire sauce shopping list
- 2 Tbsp tomato sauce, plus extra, to serve shopping list
- 4 eggs shopping list
- 4 woodfired bread rolls or hamburger buns, halved and toasted shopping list
- beetroot slices, tomato slices, baby lettuce leaves, to serve. shopping list
How to make it
- Heat half of oil in a frying pan on high. Cook onion for 3 minutes, until softened. Cool.
- In a bowl, combine cooked onion, mince, oregano and sauces. Season. Divide mixture into four portions and shape into patties.
- Wipe frying pan clean with paper towel. Return to heat with remaining oil. Cook patties for 3-4 minutes each side, until cooked thoroughly. Remove and fry eggs to your liking in same pan.
- To assemble burgers, place a fried egg on base of each roll, top with patty, a slice of each beetroot and tomato, extra tomato sauce and lettuce. Finish with tops of rolls; and serve.
