How to make it

  • Heat half of oil in a frying pan on high. Cook onion for 3 minutes, until softened. Cool.
  • In a bowl, combine cooked onion, mince, oregano and sauces. Season. Divide mixture into four portions and shape into patties.
  • Wipe frying pan clean with paper towel. Return to heat with remaining oil. Cook patties for 3-4 minutes each side, until cooked thoroughly. Remove and fry eggs to your liking in same pan.
  • To assemble burgers, place a fried egg on base of each roll, top with patty, a slice of each beetroot and tomato, extra tomato sauce and lettuce. Finish with tops of rolls; and serve.
