Three Cheese Chicken Bake

- 8 ounces lasagna noodles shopping list
- 1/2 cup chopped white onion shopping list
- 1/3 cup chopped green pepper shopping list
- 3 tablespoons butter shopping list
- 1 can cream of chicken soup shopping list
- 6 ounces sliced mushrooms shopping list
- 1/2 cup chopped pimento shopping list
- 1/3 cup milk shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil shopping list
- 1-1/2 cups cream style cottage cheese shopping list
- 2 cups diced cooked chicken shopping list
- 2 cups shredded American cheese shopping list
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese shopping list
How to make it
- Drain mushrooms and pimentos then crush the dried basil.
- Cook noodles in boiling salted water then drain well.
- Cook onion and pepper in butter until tender.
- Stir in soup, mushrooms, pimento, milk and basil.
- Lay half the noodles in a rectangular baking dish.
- Top with half each of the sauce, cottage cheese, chicken and cheeses.
- Repeat layers except for the last 2 cheeses then bake at 350 for 45 minutes.
- Top with cheeses and bake 2 minutes more.
