How to make it

  • In a large saucepan, combine all ingredients except cooking oil.
  • Bring to a boil and simmer uncovered for 30minutes or until liquid evaporates (but not all) and the meat are fork-tender.
  • In another pan, transfer pieces of garlic, fry in hot oil until brown.
  • Add the meat to the garlic then fry until all sides of the meat are brown and the liquid thickens.
  • Serve on top of steamed rice.
