Baked Beef And Cheese Rigatoni Recipe
A true crowd pleaser! Pasta and beef in 2 cheeses and tomato sauce, just yummy.

Ingredients
  • 8 oz Rigatoni pasta
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 garlic cloves; minced
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 lb lean ground beef
  • 15 1/2 oz spaghetti sauce
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 15 oz Ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 4 oz Mozzarella cheese; shredded
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Cook and drain pasta according to package directions.
  3. Melt butter in a saucepan.
  4. Add sugar, garlic and onion and cook until onion is caramelized, about 15 minutes.
  5. Add ground beef and cook over medium-high heat for 4 minutes or until meat is lightly browned.
  6. Stir in spaghetti sauce and pepper.
  7. Reduce heat; simmer 10 minutes.
  8. Combine Ricotta cheese, milk and salt in large bowl.
  9. Add Rigatoni; toss to coat.
  10. Spoon half the Rigatoni mixture into 8x8x2-inch baking dish.
  11. Top with 1/2 cup Mozzarella and 1 cup meat sauce.
  12. Repeat layers once.
  13. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  14. Bake 20 minutes or until heated through.
