Zesty Pecan Ice Cream

- 1 cup milk shopping list
- 1 cup brown sugar packed shopping list
- 4 egg yolks shopping list
- 3 cups heavy cream shopping list
- 1 cup pecan pieces shopping list
How to make it
- Heat cream., milk and sugar in heavy saucepan stirring occasionally until sugar is dissolved.
- Place egg yolks in a bowl and whisk briefly.
- Slowly pour in 1 cup of hot liquid continuing to whisk.
- When mixture is blended slowly pour into liquid in saucepan.
- Cook over heat stirring constantly for 8 minutes.
- Strain into a clean bowl and cool thoroughly then stir in pecans.
- Pour mixture into bowl of ice cream freezer and freeze according to manufacturer's instructions.
