Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe

Ingredients

1 1/4 cups of flour

1/2 tsp. of baking soda

1/2 tsp. of salt

1 cup of firmly packed brown sugar

3/4 cup of butter

2 eggs

1 tsp. of vanilla

1 1/2 cups of uncooked oats

6 onces of semi-sweet chocolat chips

Directions

In a small bowl, mix flour, baking soda, and salt

mix well

in a large bowl, beat together sugar and butter untill light and fluffy

blend in eggs and vanilla

add four mix and mix well

stir in oats

then add chocolate chips

put on a greased cookie sheet

bake for10-12 min at 350 degrees F

cool

This is a great recipe. Next time I will make the cookies a lot smaller tho as some of the larger ones were brown around the edges, but the middle was still really mushy. They still tasted great but just fell apart easily.

I didn't have 3/4 cup of butter. I used 1/2 cup butter and 1/4 cup vegetable shortening. I also added a little more flour (less than 1/4 cup) since the batter was so soft.
