How to make it

  • Place salmon in casserole dish then add onion rings, bay leaf, peppercorns and salt.
  • Cover with just enough water to cover fish then boil and simmer 5 minutes.
  • Drain and cool the salmon then cut beef into 4 serving pieces and pound to flatten.
  • Place in an ovenproof dish and lay salmon on top.
  • Combine crumbs, parsley, garlic and one half of the melted butter.
  • Season with lemon juice then cover steaks with crumb mixture and top with ham and shrimp.
  • Pour remaining butter on top then bake at 400 for 15 minutes.
