How to make it

  • take pastry sheets out to thaw. preheat oven to 220 degrees
  • Heat some olive oil in a pan, fry onions, garlic and parsley for about 4 mins. Add mince beef and cook until brown.
  • add beef stock and sauces and simmer for 5 mins.
  • add gravy powder, salt and pepper and simmer on low for a couple of minutes. take of heat and let cool for 10 minutes.
  • This makes three 18 inch pies
  • cut pastry to fit the dishes.
  • disperse the filling in the pies.
  • Then with all the left over pastry from the base, just lay on top so it is covered. pierce holes on the top of pie with a knife.
  • Then egg wash
