my aussie meat pie

- 600 grams beef mince shopping list
- 2 large onions diced finely shopping list
- 4 pieces of garlic diced finely shopping list
- 2 tblsp flat leaf parsley chopped fine shopping list
- 500ml beef stock shopping list
- 3 tblsp bbq sauce shopping list
- 3 tblsp tomato sauce(ketchup) shopping list
- 2 tblsp soya sauce shopping list
- 3 heaped tblsp gravy powder shopping list
- salt and pepper to taste shopping list
- puff pastry sheets shopping list
How to make it
- take pastry sheets out to thaw. preheat oven to 220 degrees
- Heat some olive oil in a pan, fry onions, garlic and parsley for about 4 mins. Add mince beef and cook until brown.
- add beef stock and sauces and simmer for 5 mins.
- add gravy powder, salt and pepper and simmer on low for a couple of minutes. take of heat and let cool for 10 minutes.
- This makes three 18 inch pies
- cut pastry to fit the dishes.
- disperse the filling in the pies.
- Then with all the left over pastry from the base, just lay on top so it is covered. pierce holes on the top of pie with a knife.
- Then egg wash
