Grandpa Stew Recipe
This is a great soup to fill ya up. Got it from my bro-in-law whose grandfather regularly fixed this for him.

Ingredients
  • 1 block of homemade chili (u get this from the local grocer/butcher)
  • 1 -2 cans whole kernel corn, drained
  • 1 large can tomato juice
  • chili powder, to taste
  • 2 cups water
  • Noodles, cooked...as much as u want

Directions
  1. In large pot, thaw the chili in the 2 cups water, stirring to break it up.
  2. Add remaining ingredients, stirring to mix. Simmer for an hour or so.
  3. Serve with crackers and shredded cheese.

Is this just a can or jar of chili? How much is a block, 1 cup, 2cups...???
