Macadamia Nut Sundae Flambe

- Two slices of pineapple for each person (brushed with butter, sprinkled with sugar and grilled make this sundae even better) shopping list
- 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream for each person shopping list
- 1 whole jar of macadamia nuts crushed shopping list
- store bought caramel sauce shopping list
- 1 pint of whipping cream shopping list
- 1/3 cup of sugar shopping list
- sugar cubes shopping list
- bottle of lemon extract shopping list
- cinnamon in a shaker top shopping list
How to make it
- In the bottom of each bowl, put the pineapple slices.
- Top with ice cream scoops.
- Sprinkle generously with chopped macadamia nuts
- Drizzle with caramel sauce
- Whip cream to stiff peaks, adding sugar to lightly sweetened.
- Put a generous dollop on top of each sundae.
- Soak the sugar cubes in lemon extract.
- Carefully (adults only please) place a sugar cube in the whip cream at the table, ignite the sugar cube and enjoy the show. (A sprinkle of cinnamon while the cube is ignited will sparkle like a firework)

Well, perhaps it is best not to do this around the grandchildren, but what a fun dessert for us grownups! Gotta try the cinnamon just to see the "display"!!
