Vegetable Biryani

- 1 cup basmati rice shopping list
- 2 cups of coconut milk shopping list
- 4 tbsp of oil shopping list
- 2 tbsp of ghee shopping list
- cinnamon leaf shopping list
- 1 big onion shopping list
- 1 tomato(optional) shopping list
- 2 green chillies shopping list
- 2 carrots shopping list
- 6 or 7 beans shopping list
- 1/2 cup peas shopping list
- 1 cup of cauliflower shopping list
- 1 potato shopping list
- For masala grind the following into a paste: shopping list
- 1 cup small onions shopping list
- 2 green chillies shopping list
- 2 tbsp garlic paste shopping list
- 1 tbsp ginger paste shopping list
- 1 cinnamon stick shopping list
- 1 cardamom shopping list
- 3 cloves shopping list
- 1 cup of mint leaves shopping list
- 1 cup of coriander leaves shopping list
How to make it
- Pour oil and ghee into the cooking vessel.
- When its hot add cinnamon leaf.
- Add onion fry till they turn light brown.
- Add tomatoes and chillies fry till dry.
- Add the grounded paste. Fry till everything smells out. (10 mins approx.)
- Add all the veggies and rice.
- Add coconut milk and salt.
- Cook till the rice is done.
- Note: If you are using electric rice cooker, add an extra 1/2 cup of coconut milk.
