Salmon Donburi Dated 1962 Recipe
SALMON DONBURI DATED 1962 This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Willingham estate in Round Rock, Texas in 1984

Ingredients
  • 4 cups cooked white rice
  • 16 ounce can salmon
  • 4 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 4 tablespoons dry sherry
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 6 tablespoons white sesame seeds

Directions
  1. Simmer salmon in soy sauce and sherry until liquid is gone.
  2. Heat oil and sesame seeds until light golden color then immediately remove from heat.
  3. Put hot rice in 4 bowls then top with salmon and sprinkle sesame over all and serve hot.
