Spicy Bourbon Sausage Chili

- 1 pound cooked pinto beans shopping list
- 1 pound kielbasa sausage cut into very small pieces shopping list
- 1 tablespoon olive oil shopping list
- 1 large red onion chopped fine shopping list
- 2 large jalapeno peppers chopped fine shopping list
- 2 cans diced tomatoes with green chilies shopping list
- 1 clove garlic mashed shopping list
- 1 teaspoon cumin shopping list
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder shopping list
- 2 teaspoons freshly ground black pepper shopping list
- 1 teaspoon oregano shopping list
- 3 teaspoons salt shopping list
- 2 teaspoons hot chili powder shopping list
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper shopping list
- 1/4 cup bourbon shopping list
- 4 dollops sour cream shopping list
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions shopping list
- 1/2 cup grated pepper jack cheese shopping list
How to make it
- Brown sausages in olive oil then drain well.
- Add onions, jalapeno peppers and tomatoes to meat and simmer 45 minutes.
- Add spices and bourbon and continue cooking for several hours.
- Serve in bowls with sour cream, chopped green onions and pepper jack cheese.
