Ingredients
  • 162g dry-roasted unsalted peanuts
  • 49g confectioners sugar
  • 39g dextrose
  • 5 - 6g salt

Directions
  1. Using a nut chopper, chop all peanuts "except 2 tbsp" into smaller pieces. Save for later.
  2. Place the 2 tbsp of peanuts in a blender and press the "pulse" button about 5 to 7 times to grind the peanuts into small pieces. This is what will give the filling the texture of Reeses. Don't over grind them.
  3. Grind the balance of the peanuts in a blender stopping every so often to push the peanuts down towards the blades. Using the "pulse" button helps the peanuts fall naturally back down to the blades. After about 5 minutes you will have fresh peanut butter.
  4. Empty the peanut butter into a bowl.
  5. Add the small pieces of peanuts, sugar, dextrose and salt.
  6. Knead until mixture forms a ball. The filling will be stiff but it will eventually form a ball.
  7. Fill your chocolate coated cups or candy molds and enjoy. This filling is the closest you will ever make that is like the Reeses brand.

Did you say it tastes just like the Reeses brand? In that case it has to be good! Thanks for a great easy recipe! The instructions are detailed and clear. High 5 from me!

Yes, just like Reeses. If you need to get Dextrose I have a place that gives you $5 off the first order. This is not my site, I am not promoting it for any other reason except to save people money.
