Low Salt Irish Stew

- 2 lb beef stew meat shopping list
- 1 ea garlic shopping list
- 1/4 t black pepper,Fresh Ground shopping list
- 1 onion,halved and sliced shopping list
- 12 oz dark beer shopping list
- 2 c low sodium beef broth shopping list
- 3 T No salt Added tomato paste shopping list
- 2 c carrot,Sliced shopping list
- 4 potatoes,cut into quarters shopping list
- 2 turnips,cut into quarters shopping list
- 1 t rosemary shopping list
- 2 bay leaves shopping list
- 1/4 c cornstarch shopping list
- 1/2 c water shopping list
How to make it
- Combine all ingredients except the cornstarch and water in a slow cooker and cook on low for 8 hours.
- Combine the cornstarch and water in a bowl and stir into the stew.
- Turn to high, cover the slow cooker and allow the stew to cook an additional 30 minutes, until thickened slightly.
