Braised Endive

- 6 bunches of endive shopping list
- 4 Tbsp butter shopping list
- 1/4 c chicken stock shopping list
- 1 Tbsp lemon juice shopping list
- 1 tsp sugar shopping list
- salt shopping list
How to make it
- Wash endive and remove outer leaves.
- Melt butter in a large skillet, and brown endive lightly on all sides.
- Combine stock,lemon juice, and sugar.
- Pour liquid over the endive.
- Reduce heat, cover skillet, and simmer 20 minutes, or until endive is tender.
- Season to taste with salt.
