How to make it

  • Note; Use a large heavy bottom skillet that has a good fitting lid.
  • In a hot skillet with a small amount of cooking oil.
  • Quickly fry the chicken pieces just until lightly browned on both sides.
  • Turn off the heat & set aside.
  • In a med. sauce pan melt the butter & cream cheese over med/low heat, stir until creamy smooth.
  • Add all the remaining ingredients except the chives.
  • Cook and stir the sauce just long enough to combine all of the ingredients well.
  • Pour the sauce over the chicken pieces. in the skillet.
  • Cover & cook over a low heat setting for 3 to 4 hours.
  • No need to stir but once or twice.
  • Prepare the pasta as directed on box
  • -----
  • Place a stack of pasta on each plate
  • Top with the chicken & sauce.
  • Sprinkle with chives.
  • Serve along with a nice green salad and some garlic bread and you have a great meal!
