How to make it

  • Preheat the oven 400 degrees.
  • Cut the butternut squash in half lengthwise, clean the seeds and put it in a cookie sheet.
  • Sprinkle it with a little salt and olive oil or vegetable oil.
  • Put it in the oven for 40 minutes.
  • Once cooked, scrape the meat out of the squash and set it apart.
  • Sift flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla bean seeds and sugar in a large bowl.
  • Add milk and squash and stir until the batter has thickened.
  • In a frying pan, melt a little butter and dip the bread slices in the batter and fry them until golden brown.
  • Layer the French Toast and put fresh fruits on top then add the whipped cream then another French Toast on top.
  • Pour vanilla syrup on top
