Tender Greens With Nutmeg and Cream

- 2 tablespoons butter shopping list
- 3 medium shallots minced shopping list
- 2 pounds tender greens cleaned stemmed with water left clinging to leaves shopping list
- 1/2 cup cream shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg shopping list
- 1 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper shopping list
How to make it
- Heat butter in a large sauté pan.
- Add shallots and sauté over medium high heat for 3 minutes.
- Add wet greens then cover and cook stirring occasionally until completely wilted but still bright.
- Uncover and cook until most of liquid evaporates.
- Add cream and cook uncovered until thickened slightly.
- Stir in nutmeg then season with salt and pepper.
