Ketchup Sauce Chicken Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/2 lb. boneless chicken legs or breast
  • 1/2 Tablespoon cooking wine
  • 1/2 Tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Dash of pepper
  • 3/4 Tablespoon cornstarch
  • Savory Stir-Fry Veggies
  • 2 Tablespoons minced green onions
  • 1/2 Tablespoon minced garlic
  • Stir-Fry Veggies
  • Total of 1-1/2 cups diced celery, onion, and carrot
  • Sauce
  • 2 Tablespoons ketchup
  • 1/3 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 Tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1/2 Tablespoon sugar
  • Dash of pepper
  • 1/2 Tablespoon cornstarch
  • 4 Tablespoons water

Directions
  1. Shred boneless chicken legs or breast and mix it with wine, soy sauce, salt, pepper, and cornstarch.
  2. Add 1 Tablespoon of oil to help shredded chicken to separate easily when frying.
  3. Place 1-1/2 Tablespoons oil in wok and heat.
  4. Stir-fry chicken until medium well and move to side of wok.
  5. Stir-fry Savory Veggies in remaining oil.
  6. Add Stir-Fry Veggies and stir briefly.
  7. Mix and add Sauce.
  8. Cover and cook until steamy, then stir-fry to mix well.
  9. Remove from wok and serve.
