Ginger Plum Pork Chops Recipe
GINGER PLUM PORK CHOPS This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Grimes Estate in Bryan, Texas in 1988.

Ingredients
  • 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
  • 4 boneless pork chops
  • 8 ounces plum preserves
  • 2 teaspoons ground dry ginger
  • 3 tablespoons cider vinegar

Directions
  1. Heat vegetable oil in a nonstick skillet over medium high heat.
  2. Brown pork chops on one side then turn.
  3. Stir together preserves, ginger and cider vinegar then add to skillet.
  4. Cover skillet then lower heat and simmer 5 minutes then serve.
